2008 Summer Reading List

These are the books on my summer reading list. Those of you that remember this page as the “2006 Summer Reading List” or the “2007 Summer Reading List” will recognize most of them. OK, all of them. My current problem is that the bifocals need adjusting. It’s really hard to read at the moment.

I Loved this one! I think I read the whole thing in an evening or two.
Not what you’d normally consider light reading, but I loved the appendix information - especially with “The DaVinci Code” coming out on film. Tons of good background on the bible.
This is a sentimental favorite, since it’s written by a distant relative & about the farm of my ancestors. The story part is a wonderful read of life in 1700’s.
